WOYWW as hosted by Julia. This is a weekly desk hop around the world. Showing what our workdesks look like each Wednesday.
Last week I was ashamed because my desk hadn't moved since the week before, but this week I tidied it all up and put everything away. I even finished something.
My knitting (the bag for February Monthly Make) is still there, only one inch to go. A hat I started knitting but then put down to make the bag.
My Mollie Makes Magazine with some gorgeous ribbon - umm what can I do with that? A hot glue gun. For mending Small's boots and for sticking together the three heart shaped rocks I picked up off the beach for Huffle's Valentine present. I tied them together with raffia and he liked them together so we are going to try and glue them.
My cup of English tea and our valentine's gingerbread biscuit. My wind up radio playing something random. Can't get digital radio here in Canada and I really miss it.
Small's toiletries bag. FINALLY!
....and another gorgeous stone I picked up at the beach. It is really flat and really really sparkly. I wondered if there was any way I could make it into a pendant for a necklace. Maybe wrap wire around it. It is so pretty and just the right size and shape. Any ideas?
Anyway, that's my desk this cold and snowy morning. What's on your workdesk? I'm off to have a look.

Fab makes on show. Love the finished bag. I love shiney stones so would have also picked it up but rarely do anything with them.

I linked you up, not a problem! I'm ashamed to say I forgot to look for your post this morning!! Julia has started posting WOYWW at half midnight her time, 7:30pm our time so I've been catching it on a Tuesday night now. I was going to tell you but I though with HB in town you might be busy this week! Lovely gift for Huffle, that's my kind of pressie to be honest! My hubby wire wraps stones of all kinds for sale, you can have a look at a few here, I think that stone would look great wrapped in that manner. Looks like quartz to me too.

ReplyDeleteThose heart shaped stones are really cool. I have not seen anything like them!!! Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the red knitting, so satisfying and the hat pattern is funky too. I love the way beanie hats are so 'in' at the moment - 10 years ago, no-one would have been seen dead in them!
ReplyDeleteI'm as bad as you for picking up stones - those heart shaped ones are fantastic and the sparkly one will make a lovely pendant!
