WOYWW #139 (a mess and a giveaway)

It's that time again.  What's on your workdesk Wednesday?

What a mess.  All works in progress though.  Here goes:-

Knitting Needle bag, I was looking for a circular needle to try something new but couldn't find what I was looking for.  Haven't put it all away yet.

Smallest's swimming towel with a badge from home that I must sew on.

Some magazines I'm reading and a library book called Chicks with Sticks about knitting.  It's very good.

My cardi knitting pattern - oh yes must check with Moo whether she has sewn it together yet.

All the cards we were given or sent when we left the UK and moved here.  I wanted to do something with them?  Any ideas?  I've not done journalling and wouldn't know where to start!

My craft bag with my knitting in.  Am attempting a knitted bag to go with the handles I won from the felt fairy (hoping this will be my Monthy Make for February - arrrggggghhhhh it's February today)?

The same bags in the same state as last week.  Ummmmmmmm.

A picture I drew and coloured - inspired me to do something with it but not sure what yet.

A sock with a hole in it.  I thought I might try a sock monkey!?

.....and Small's toiletries bag, still in the same state as it was last week.

I just noticed my jeans to repair are still on there.  Didn't even notice till I looked at the picture and a tiny weeny crochet hook I found that I thought I could make something with.

That's it apart from to say that I am having a Pay it Forward Giveaway and would love it if you would enter.  Just go here and leave a comment for a chance to win something handmade from me.

  1. I'm just doing a quick dash round to see what everyone is up to this week before my daughter comes out with the twins. We are doing a fitting for her Wedding dress and making a start with the Wedding invites....I can see a busy day ahead of me :-)

  3. So many wonderful projects on the go! With the cards, you could cover an old show box with fabric or papers to store them in maybe?

I'll join in your PIF but haven't a clue as to what that really means. I'm happy to contribute something if that's part of it!

  9. I think you have enough stuff to be going on with for a couple of weeks (months in my case)!!
Re the cards... what about a mini book with the cards as pages? That way you can look back on them or add to it when you have a chance.

  10. What a lot going on there on your desk and it all looks good. You sound like me as I always have lots of projects on at the same time.
The scarf/shawlette was made with my own pattern so if you'd like a copy just email me and I'll forward it to you. It's sooooo easy and I wrote one for knitting and one for crochet.

  21. Life is never boring with a lot of WIP's to finish up.

Sometimes I get bored with the same thing so i set it aside and work on a WIP to break the boredom.
