WOYWW #140

Heelllllllloooooo.  It's Wednesday.  Here's my Workdesk.  Courtesy of http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com

I am ashamed to say that it doesn't seem to have changed much from last week except that my knitting has grown a little bit.  The pattern says to knit the pattern to 21" and I have about 5" to go so hopefully it might look different next week.  I haven't done any of the other things I said I would do. Poor Small still has a hole in his boot because I can't find the glue gun.  Poor Smallest still hasn't got his badge sewn on his swimming towel.  Poor Small still hasn't got an embellished wash bag.  Poor me, my jeans are still ripped.  In fact, looking at the picture I don't think I have even moved the magazines.  It's been so cold up here in the loft (which is where my desk is) that I have mainly been knitting on my knee in front of the TV. ....and I'm late joining this today.
SHAME ON ME
I wonder how Moo is getting on with her Cardi?
I have been baking.  Some disasters

And some triumphs.

I am still hosting the Pay It Forward giveaway.  This is a lovely giveaway as you get to host your own if you win and I know you are all so talented out there.  Think how many people would like to win a handmade gift from you.  They would, I'm sure.  Please enter here.
Off I go now to pop around the world to the rest of the desk on WOYWW.

  1. I think it's great that you posted both disasters and triumphs--the triumphs definitely look delicious!

  2. We all have successes and failures but I'm certain yours aren't as bad as some I've seen. :-)
You have so many projects on the go at the mo too.

  3. They don't look like disasters to me!! I leave the bread baking to hubby and his machine. Having discovered recently that my dodgy tum is better when I eat as little gluten as possible, he's discovered spelt flour. It makes a lush loaf in the machine - I can have toast again. Yippee :) It is amazing how it's the simplest things you miss when you can't have them!!

  8. We all have our own little disasters and triumphs in baking, life and crafting.... though most of us hide the disasters from others, not publish them on the web for the world to see, lol!!!! Keep warm, it's getting colder here for a few days again.

    Hugs

Knitting takes a while, doesn't it. I've been knitting on a baby blanket for a month now and I'm so ready for it to be done!!!

  11. The question is ...were your disasters ediable? ...if they were they weres not actually a disaster. I remember cooking a new chicken dish ..when the kids were still at home ...I normally go by smell so was sure the flavour was fine ...served up and was last to sit ...looked at their faces ...tasted mine and the whole lot was bined.

Your triumphs look amazing...oh how I would love some of that syrup pudding.xx

  12. No shame at all, if it's cold it's miserable and absolutely no help in motivating!! And you can't be in two places at once huh, so it's baking...keeps you warm too!!!

I'm so bad. I am involved in a pay it forward and my poor 3 are still awaiting their gift from me. It's been a series of things really...but, they will be getting them this year finally....yep..it's been more than a year...sigh.... the good thing is...it'll be a total shock and surprise for them all... by now they have given up on getting anything I bet.
