WOYWW #128

My first woyww in Canada.  Now there isn't a lot on it because the ship hasn't arrived with all my stuff (at least three weeks yet!!!).
So what is on my workdesk?  (well for a start it is a small kitchen table).  All that is here is a very large crochet hook which I picked up at the local thrifty store?  Some thick wool I bought in the UK to make Smallest a scarf for Christmas.  I started a scarf in the UK before we came out here but the packers shipped it before I put in on one side to put in my flight bag.  A teapot full of tea.  Two mugs for Huffle and I.

....... And that's it!

There are lots of proper desks out there to have a nose at

Oh but at least you've got a desk, and a (almost) Brown Betty teapot to remind you of home. I like that you're crafty shopping already!

Hoping all your crafty bits arrive safe and the move is all you hoped it would be. Love the colour of your crochet yarn.

Really glad to see you're now safely in Canada. Isn't it funny that even though you are now much further away it will make no difference to WOYWWs :-) It's a small world eh?

Oh dear!!! How horrible! The problem with waiting is that it goes so slow!!
Never mind all your gear will arrive soon, and you should be settled before Christmas arrives, fingers crossed. In the meantime, an ideal time for browsing the local area for crafty stash!!

Happy WOYWW

Hi there. Thanks for letting us peek into your creative space this week. It’s always inspiring seeing where and how we create! Hope the rest of your week goes very well for you. The waiting for stuff to arrive is horrible, but you at least have a nice cuppa.........

Big move, over already! Crikey. Hope you settle quickly and happily, you sure look at home - teapot and crochet! Gosh, it'll be like a double whammy Christmas when your container arrives! So sorry about my linimg failure - am often out all day on Weds, so get to do nothing till too late!

At least you've got a teapot! Life wouldn't be worth living without one of those. I hope your stuff arrives soon and you can get stuck in creating again. Nice to see you've managed to get some crochet going, anyway. I'm about to launch into the wonderful world of freeform crochet! Happy belated WOYWW, Shoshi #70
