1 ball of chunky wool

6mm needles

14st/4"

 

Child's (women's,men's)

 

Cast on 23 (26,29) stitches

Foot

Row 1: k7 (8,9) p1, k7 (8,9) p1, k7 (8,9)

Row 2: knit to end

Repeat these two rows 9 (13,16) times more. Repeat row 1 once more.

Toe

P1, k1 to end

Repeat 4 (6,10) more times

Decrease for toe

Row 1 : rib 5 (6,7) sts, k2 tog, k1, k2 tog, rib3 (4,5), k2 tog, k1, k2tog rib 5 (6,7)

Row 2 : rib 405 (6,7) p3 rib4 (5,7) p3 rib5 (6,7)

Row 3 : rib 4 (5,6) k2tog, k1, k2tog, rib1 (2,3) k2tog, rib4 (5,6)

To finish:

Cut remaining wool, leaving 12" long. Thread wool rough remaining stitched and pull tight. Sew top seam to end of ribbing. Sew back seam of slipper.
