Wow a drawstring bag. Some adorable little bunting. A pin cushion. A personal tissue case (how clever). A gorgeous little notebook. A Lovely little lavender bag.

How lucky am I? What a very talented lady she is. Now let me introduce you to this clever lady. Her blog name is Faded Reverie and she describes it as "My world of vintage, recycled and handmade loveliness, knitting, stitching and a bit more besides".

 

It is an interesting read and her creations are beautiful, especially her freeform bags - clever lady. Go and see.

Thank you so much Carrad for my lovely things. Now I just need to find homes for them. I have been walking around trying the bunting here and there and everywhere.

 

 

 

WOYWW #139 (a mess and a giveaway)

 It's that time again.  What's on your workdesk Wednesday?

 

What a mess.  All works in progress though.  Here goes:-

Knitting Needle bag, I was looking for a circular needle to try something new but couldn't find what I was looking for.  Haven't put it all away yet.

Smallest's swimming towel with a badge from home that I must sew on.

Some magazines I'm reading and a library book called Chicks with Sticks about knitting.  It's very good.

My cardi knitting pattern - oh yes must check with Moo whether she has sewn it together yet.

All the cards we were given or sent when we left the UK and moved here.  I wanted to do something with them?  Any ideas?  I've not done journalling and wouldn't know where to start!

My craft bag with my knitting in.  Am attempting a knitted bag to go with the handles I won from the felt fairy (hoping this will be my Monthy Make for February - arrrggggghhhhh it's February today)?

The same bags in the same state as last week.  Ummmmmmmm.

A picture I drew and coloured - inspired me to do something with it but not sure what yet.

A sock with a hole in it.  I thought I might try a sock monkey!?

.....and Small's toiletries bag, still in the same state as it was last week.

I just noticed my jeans to repair are still on there.  Didn't even notice till I looked at the picture and a tiny weeny crochet hook I found that I thought I could make something with.

Giveaway Received

A while ago ( when I still lived in the UK), I won a giveaway from Annaboos House.  

She contacted me to tell me she was ready to send me my handmade gifts and they came in the post this morning.  HOW EXCITING.

These were in my first package.

Gorgeous little crocheted trees with beads and buttons.

Just beautiful.

Such detail.

And the other package had her lovely Christmas blocks.

It was part of a handmade giveaway.  She won a giveaway from another crafter and then hosted a giveaway herself.   I now have to host a giveaway too.  Which I will do once I have my crafting supplies up and running.
