Woyww #146 (can't get these numbers right!)

Well, again I have moved my workdesk. This time downstairs on the lounge table. My gifts are finally finished, wrapped and ready to package securely and send out. Unfortunately I can't show you what they are until I know they have been received. Sorry. I just hope they like them. It has been a labour of love. Trying to fit in crafting with holiday, visitors, decorating...........

The bag that hid the gifts last week. Raffia (always like to see a gift tied in raffia). Tissue paper. My labels. Small's book of colourful paper (shhhh don't tell him I borrowed it!). Scissors, jar and beads.

.........and that's it. Back to a normal desk from next week hopefully.

I am sorry I haven't been able to get to as many desk as I would like but I will try harder this week (I promise). Thank you to all who have visited me and commented, I love reading your words. Go and see some more desks here.

I love raffia too! I sell my knitted spa cloths (o.k. dish cloths ;-) at craft shows and wrap them with raffia. It just adds a bit of organic to them.

Happy WOYWW

Im not surprised you are finding it difficult to make time for things. How exciting to move to Canada. Where were you before?. I have always wanted to move to Canada - maybe one day. Thanks for popping in at my desk - Happy WOYWW, Helen ♯35

You are a real tease, not showing us the contents of those parcels. Never mind, I am sure they will be well received. Thank you for you visit and comments. I have a similar system. Once I have visited everyone who has visited me, I will be going round everyone ending in 4. Have a good week. xx Maggie #5

Pretty duck egg blue paper, looking forward to seeing what you made. Looks like it's back to cooler temps at the weekend, not freezing by any means, just not 30C!

I giggled at the bit about you can't get the numbers right. Julia said it would be nice to leave our Link List number on our comment but my fingers refuse to type them right so I just left her another comment that I couldn't get the numbers right and was just making them up from here on out. And YES! Tissue paper and raffia makes for extra special gifts. Judy #134 or maybe #528 or maybe #1672.

I always think raffia makes a prezzy look very smart - I used it if I want to make an impression!! It looks very elegant with the blue tissue :)
Thank you for the lovely comments about my blog - I'm afraid I only do WOYWW, apart from the very occasional other post. So I'm going to fail miserably with Julia's edict to keep it brief. It's just not going to happen... ah well, it's not the end of the world :)

What a beautiful idea for gift wrap, so simple but very very stylish. It's my mum's birthday next week, think I'll give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration x
