WOYWW #200 - wooliness

I am joining in with the Wednesday phenomenon that is WOYWW or What's on your Workdesk Wednesday?

Here is my desk.

My cardigan, with a finished back and a new side started. Coming along nicely. My Granny Blanket - now seventy rounds. WOW! I bought some more wool so I can do lots more. The new thing in the shape of a round black and white spiral is a Poof cover. I inherited my Grandma's rocker and matching poof (I remember the poof when I was a child, I used to be able to fit in between the legs. These days I can hardly fit my leg through it ha! Anyway, I saw, on Instagram a similar thing but very colourful. I want it for the living room so wanted it slightly muted. I used the back and white on Small's Nimp at Christmas and I really liked the stripiness of it. I like the spiral even better. Hope to be able to show you more as it progresses.

My sewing machine has moved because I used it at the weekend and finished the Batman Bunting for Smallest's room. He loves it.

That's me done. Yorkshire tea poo (leaves) and a slice of cake and then I will have a blog hop to see everyone else's desks this week.

I thought what on earth are you doing eating cake at 7 in the morning! Then I realised you posted this last night! Love the cardy colour it's coming on really well. That spiral looks interesting, is it knitted or crocheted?

Love your knitting projects ...the B/W cover will look amazing.
As for the origami cranes ...I chose them for the wedding card because DS's partner is using origami cranes for decoration at their wedding.xx

We've never been able to knit or sew, our paws are too cumbersome! Thanks for your earlier visit.

I like the multi coloured blanket very much but I also really love that variegated monochrome as well...it works really well in the spiral...I wouldn't mind seeing a real close up of that actually!
Btw, AWESOME angry birds cake and batman bunting in your previous posts, great job with both!!

Oh what lovely creations you're working on!!! I used to love to crochet in the winter and have something toasty warm on my lap, lol! Of course, after I discovered stamping all other crafts got left behind. You make me miss it though!

Have a cuppa for me!

Welcome to Canada, although I spent most of my life in Ontario, I now live in British Columbia to be close to my grandchildren. I hope you have found a warm welcome and are making some new friends. Your work is lovely, the blanket is so colourful and the sweater looks like it will be warm and cozy for winter next year. Welcome to WOYWW, I am a newbie to this too. I have found people to be very friendly. I hope you will too.
