Woyww - a boob and a new snake head

WEDNESDAY. WHATS ON YOUR WORKDESK. Crafters from all over the world go HERE and see photos of over 100, sometimes over 200 desks of fellow crafters. AMAZING!

My desk has been used for Christmas wrapping recently as presents have been winging their way from across the pond and I have been wrapping them before little eyes see them. After I tidied it up (honestly you would not have wanted to see it!) and organised my handmade presents (I have to wrap and send by Monday - arrrggghhhh), I took a photo.

At the front is a knitted boob. Unfortunately a family member had to have a mastectomy and when asked WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR CHRISTMAS? She replied "a boob". So I am knitting some for her. For Christmas Day I have made a candy cane coloured one and I am going to add a bell for a nipple. This is just a silly Christmas present to lift spirits but I have some wool at the back to make some proper ones too.

I have big silver bells and tiny green, red and gold ones - which do you think?

I finished my Christmas Stocking and that is on the right almost out of sight but you can see it here. I also finished the snake for baby. I wasnt very happy with either. Last night I chopped the snakes head off and made a new one. I like it much better though Smallest said it looked like a Fat Worm! The other one looked like a Willy!! Not good!

The only other things on my desk of interest are the pile of socks. These now need blocking, sewing in, wrapping and sending. So you SHOULDN'T see them on my desk after today.

Right, I am off to see if Miss Julia has posted yet so I can add my name to her linky. See you on the blog-hop ; )

Now I have heard of everything! A knitted boob! I thought I read it wrong at first. So nice of you to do that for her. Thanks for the peek this week!

Oh that boob has definitely got to jingle and jangle! Sorry that it's needed at all but good to retain a sense of humour if nothing else. First a boob, now a willy, I hate to think what's coming next! Love the little snake and I can't believe you're wrapping gifts already! We're back to our rightful positions of 1 and 2 this week! Yay, now at least I can get ready for bed at a reasonable time! Sucks to be old!

Oh, my God, you have me choking with laughter, you goof! I have a couple of friends who would be hysterical and delighted if I gave them gifts of knitted boobs to replace the ones they lost. That is brilliant and what a wonderful way to keep one's sense of humor! And a jingle bell for a nipple! I am sputtering!! And you make willies, too? You are a riot tonight!! Thank you for the best laughs I've had in ages! Hugs, Darnell #17

The sad thing is you could probably start a business making single or matching boobs, cos I know someone who would love one too...with bells on as well...now that has to make you smile in such serious conditions. it is often laugh or cry.

Back again. I've collected wool from various places over the years and never thought to get it wound! So as a consequence, I have quite a lot of skeins now! I think it'll be fun to wind everything too!! I'm easily amused!

Baby will love it no matter what it looks like--the colors are wonderful. But you're right, I suppose a willy would not have been quite . . . appropriate? Lol!

Happy WOYWW to you!

Only a GREAT friend would knit a boob for her friend. That is awesome!!!! I think any of the bells would work altho' my preference would be the small green and red. Your snake looks great and I think he is cute, chubby and snugly. I have not made one present yet, uh-oh!! Hugs, Rasz #88
